Keeping in touch, but no stalking.

Looking up old school mates from way back is weird and wonderful. I’ve recently discovered a bunch of them on Linkedin and Fakebook. Unfortunately after years of resisting, I had to make an account to see if they are still alive and well. Pro tip, don’t use too much actual real info, and feel free to throw in some troll data, get creative and have some fun with it. It’s remarkable how easy it is to forget about the kids I grew up with. I blame it on being forced to spend countless hours in close proximity with each other, and the different directions we all take when school is over. A lot of people loose friends, and sure they make new ones, but there’s friends from work, and then there are friends you just love to hang out with. I’m very fortunate to have a close friend, who is practically my brother now after all the shit we’ve been through together. Social media is a fun way to keep in touch but doesn’t guarantee a real friendship. People change a lot sometimes, unrecognisable given enough time. I grew up with a kid, who is now a successful sports reporter, I tried reaching out to him, but it seems like he is not interested. To each their own I guess, and I hope he has everything he wants to be happy.

It remains very weird seeing the adult version of people, I remember doing really stupid shit with many years ago. I’m hoping this Linkedin and Fakebook reaching out, is going to have some results, and if it does I might share it in this blog. If it doesn’t, I’ll probably still share it for the lulz. Additional note, Cunt of the Weak: Kate Hoey, she might be old but I’d still rape her, at Minecraft!
